Oxford has three golfers medal in Class D tourney

DELHI - At Delhi University’s golf course, Southern Cayuga swept the overall team title and individual medalist honors on Thursday afternoon.
Oxford, meanwhile, the lone Chenango County team in the Class D field, had three players medal among the top-15 finishers.
Sophomore Christian Paden placed fifth overall shooting a 93 over Delhi’s tough course layout. Liam O’Brien, and seventh-grader Bennett Paden, tied for 15th shooting matching 112s.
Southern Cayuga totaled 488 for first place, and Brandon Vanacore shot a tournament-low 76.
Top-Five Medalists:  Brandon Vanacore, Southern Cayuga, 76, Corey Zwick, Delhi, 85, Luke Parker, Union Springs 87, Jackson Otis, SC, 92, Christian Paden, Oxford, 93.
Oxford:  Christian Paden 93, Bennett Paden 112, Liam O’Brien 112, Ethan Fleury 129, Sylas Emerson 129.
