CHENANGO COUNTY – The Health Department has announced that due to the decline in COVID cases in Chenango County, they will be transitioning to weekly COVID updates, rather than daily. As of today updates will be sent every Tuesday, and will include case data as well as vaccine updates.

As of Tuesday there are seven active cases of COVID-19 in Chenango County, and zero individuals are currently hospitalized.

The Chenango County Department of Health confirmed there have been 3,512 total cases of COVID-19 in Chenango.

There have been 77 confirmed deaths.

The health department also confirmed there are 14 residents under quarantine, and 3,331 total recoveries.

So far approximately 124,254 tests for the virus have been administered in the county.
