NORWICH – Earlier this month at Canasawacta Country Club the Chenango Arts Council held our Summer Fling Golf Tournament and Dinner Dance.

This event happily marked the return of live events for the council.

Alecia Oneill, Executive Director of Chenango Arts Council explained, “We’re so grateful, both that we could hold the event, and that so many of our neighbors came out to support us. Our community is always so generous and we’re excited we’ll be able to bring them live shows on our stage again very soon. ”

The Arts Council Board and Staff would like to thank the community for their generous and enthusiastic support of the Summer Fling. We are immensely grateful to, not only the participants, but the event’s sponsors and donors, the Canasawacta Country Club, Live Event NY, and others who all came together to make this event a success.

Chenango Arts Council is actively preparing for a full 2021-22 season, to be kicked off with a performance by Mark Sands and the Dixieland Band on August 14, 2021.

“The return of live theater and other in-person arts could never happen without this amazing community” stated ONeill. “It’s wonderful to be able to showcase our talented artists and bring everyone such fun programming. We’re truly fortunate in so many ways.”
