Cuts with Cops at the Norwich Police Department today

NORWICH — The City of Norwich Police Department is hosting "Cuts with Cops" today from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the Norwich Police Department rear parking lot.

The event is open to children in preschool through 12th grade. Free haircuts will be offered to students and will be given on a first come first served basis.

Fidelis and Chenango County WIC will also be in attendance and distributing free school supplies. Helping Hands will be handing out free backpacks to the first 100 students, and Chobani will be giving out free yogurt.

All attendees are required to wear face coverings while inside the police station, in accordance with guidelines from the Chenango County Health Department.
