SOCCER: Oxford rallies to beat Unadilla Valley in overtime

NEW BERLIN - Down one goal at halftime to Unadilla Valley, Oxford's Hailey Fleury scored the tying goal at 7:11 of the second half, and never trailed in overtime picking up a 5-3 victory Wednesday afternoon.

Oxford's Bailey Chesebro tallied the go-ahead goal late in the first overtime, and Taylor Smith's second goal of the game in the second OT period secured the victory.

"We played an unbelievable game tonight," said Oxford coach Sierra Badger. "We were able to UV's strongest player (Kadence York) to one goal. Our defense stepped up when they needed to. Our offense moved the ball around very well tonight."

Jaiden Schrag had one goal and one assist for UV in the loss.
