The Trojans stand their ground against Maine-Endwell

GREENE - Greene’s field hockey team righted another wrong from the preseason.
The Trojans, who lost to Maine-Endwell in the spring, claimed a 2-1 victory on Thursday night at Raymond Field.
“Both teams played well, and battled until the very end of the game,” said Greene coach Heather Rapp.
Liv Kennedy was responsible for both of Greene’s tallies.
Kennedy scored unassisted with 54.6 seconds left in the second quarter. After M-E tied the game at 11:24 of the third, Kennedy scored the winner off a Claire Flanagan pass with 1:16 left in the quarter.
The Trojans controlled play much of the game in the M-E defensive zone finishing with a 15-2 advantage in shots on goal.
