Tuesday’s COVID update for Chenango County

CHENANGO COUNTY – As of Monday there are 121 active cases of COVID-19 in Chenango County and one new death reported. A total of 83 confirmed deaths have now been linked locally to COVID-19.

Those reported infected include 54 who were previously vaccinated. Six people are currently hospitalized, one of which was vaccinated.

The Chenango County Department of Health confirmed there have been 4,156 total cases of COVID-19 in Chenango County. There are 292 residents under quarantine, and 3,906 total recoveries.

So far approximately 139,250 tests for the virus have been administered in the county.
