COVID-19 Update for Chenango County

CHENANGO COUNTY – As of Thursday there are 118 active cases of COVID-19 in Chenango County, 36 of which are vaccinated, and two individuals are currently hospitalized, one of which is vaccinated.

The Chenango County Department of Health confirmed there have been 4,284 total cases of COVID-19 in Chenango.

There have been 84 confirmed deaths.

The health department also confirmed there are 287 residents under quarantine, and 4,064 total recoveries.

So far approximately 142,013 tests for the virus have been administered in the county.

The health department will be a holding a Pfizer booster clinic on Tuesday, October 5. The clinic will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., at their location in the South Plaza in Norwich. 400 appointments are available.
