Marauders earn first league win of season

SHERBURNE - Sherburne-Earlville only needed a two-day turnaround to avenge its loss to Little Falls.
Coming off a loss to Mounties on Thursday last week, Sherburne-Earlville turned the tables with a one-goal victory for its first Center State Conference win of the season.
Dan Scholl scored both of S-E's goals scoring off an assist from Andrew Fern to create a one-goal lead.
The Mounties' Jeremy Colon Cardenales tied the game before halftime scoring after a defensive miscommunication on the Marauders' side.
Scholl unlocked the tie with just over 10 minutes remaining.
The Marauders (2-7-1) play Clinton on Monday.

Terriek Brown had two goals and one assist for the Trojans (10-1), and Trenton Rapp figured in four goals totaling one goal and three assists.
"We came out very flat against a talented, well-coached team," said Oxford coach Corey Endress. "Greene had an organized attack that was too much for us tonight."
Greene keepers Jesse Ledford and Rapp combined on the shutout.
