NORWICH - Norwich could not have started any better in Tuesday’s 25-0, 25-11, 25-16 sweep of Chenango Valley on Tuesday afternoon.
Maddy Morris started the match for Norwich (14-1) serving 25 straight points- with five aces - to close out the opening set.
Morris added 18 assists, four digs, and three kills to her match total to help Norwich claim its 14th straight victory.
Lauren Squires had 21 kills, and Miranda Cole led the Purple Tornado defense with 10 digs.

NEW BERLIN - In a battle of the number two and number three seeds in the MAC tournament, Unadilla Valley held serve as the higher seed outlasting visiting Delhi on Tuesday, 25-18, 25-18, 23-25, 27-25.
Maddi Sayles, Kate Conway, and Hudson Lyons all stacked big numbers to pace the Storm’s lineup.
Sayles had 10 kills and 8 digs; Conway four kills, seven aces, and nine assists; and Lyons charted 12 assists, 9 digs, and 4 aces.
UV plays at Oxford in the championship game on Friday.

OXFORD - Top-seeded Oxford reached the Midstate Athletic Conference volleyball finals, but it didn’t come without a struggle.
Down two sets to one, Oxford (10-1) rallied to pick up a 25-21, 22-25, 23-25, 25-21, 26-24 victory over Deposit-Hancock on Tuesday evening.
Madalyn Barrows had 16 kills, and Mallory Olsen-Nichols charted 38 assists. Jadyn Ruff contributed in multiple areas added six aces, six digs, and four kills.
Oxford hosts Unadilla Valley on Friday, Oct. 22.
