Big weekend for Cyclones football

NORWICH - With the Pop Warner football season winding down, all three Norwich Cyclones clubs came away with victories last weekend.
The Flag Team traveled to Montrose, Penn. for its first-round playoff game, and came away with a 34-14 victory.
The B team, playing its final game of the season, earned a 7-0 victory at Owego.
The A team, also competing in a first-round playoff matchup, rolled to a 31-6 home victory over Chenango Forks.
The Flag Team and A team will continue their playoff runs this weekend in semifinals action.
The Flag Team plays this Sunday at Vestal with kickoff at Dick Hoover Stadium at 12 p.m. Meanwhile, the A team hosts Union-Endicott Sunday 1:30 p.m. at Norwich High School’s turf field.
