Sherburne bus driver charged with touching students

SHEBURNE – On Thursday, February 3, the New York State Police at Norwich arrested Douglas C. Webb, age 61 of Sherburne, for the misdemeanor forcible touching and endangering the welfare of a child.
Police reported that at the time of his arrest Webb was a school bus driver at the Sherburne -Earlville School District.
An investigation revealed that Webb inappropriately touched three students, ages 14, 15 and 16.
Webb was arrested and arraigned before a judge. He was released on his own recognizance and the victims were issued stay away orders of protection.
All defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Webb will appear in court at a later date.
