Public Workshop offered for $10 million Norwich revitalization grant

NORWICH – The City of Norwich was selected as one of the Southern Tier region recipients of a $10 million Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI) grant.

The DRI is a statewide initiative that provides funding for high priority projects designed to boost local economies and transform city centers into vibrant neighborhoods where the next generation of New Yorkers will want to live, work, and raise a family.

A public workshop will be held virtually on to 6 p.m., Wednesday, February 16.

All members of the public are invited to learn more about the DRI program and share their ideas on downtown revitalization strategies and projects in Norwich.
