BAINBRIDGE– It all came down to the final doubles match for Oxford and Bainbridge-Guilford for Oxford to come away with the 3-2 victory Monday night.
In the singles, Oxford's Ethan Ehly defeated Giovanni Johnson with scores of 6-3 and 6-0.
B/G's Garrett O'Hara won against John Rovente in a close first match of 6-4 but came away with a 6-1 victory in the second match.
Kevin Lang defeated Oxford's Sam Hendricks with scores of 6-4 and 6-2.
For the doubles, Oxford captured the two victories.
Madalyn Barrows with Ethan Fleury outmatched B/G's Ilias Wilson and Trent Sullivan 6-2 and 6-0.
Jill and Jocie Finch defeated Marek Rajner and Savannah Carlin with scores of 6-4 and 6-2.
Oxford travels to Sidney on Thursday before hosting Delaware Academy on Monday. Bainbridge-Guilford is set to host Delaware Academy on Thursday.
