Baseball: UV/GMU falls to Afton
NEW BERLIN– The UV/GMU baseball team hosted Afton, where they were defeated 14-1.
UV/GMU fell behind early and didn't score a run until the sixth. Dalton Proskine led the Storm on offense as he went 2-for-3 with a stolen base and scored the only run. Kaden Butts also had a hit for UV/GMU.
The Storm pitchers combined for seven strikeouts in the loss.
UV/GMU heads to Harpursville on Thursday afternoon for a 4:30 p.m. start.
