Otselic Valley Softball defeats McGraw

OTSELIC– On Wednesday afternoon, the Otselic Valley Vikings softball team defeated McGraw for the second time this season with a 16-6 win.

After McGraw scored three runs in the top of the first, OV added four runs of their own before taking control with seven runs in the fourth inning.

Cassidy Will struck out 10 batters on the mound for the Vikings and also helped contribute at the plate. Will went 2-for-4 with a home run and a double and scored a team-high four runs on the day.

Behind Will, Kali Waltz drove in two runs with an RBI single as Emily Miller had an RBI single and scored three runs with two hits and two walks.

Otselic Valley heads to Madison for the final game of the 2022 season this afternoon (Thursday) at 4:30 p.m. According to the high school sports stats website, they qualify for the Class D playoffs with having won 40 percent of their games this year.
