BASEBALL: Greene/Oxford falls short against Oneonta

ONEONTA– On Wednesday, the Greene/Oxford baseball team fell short in the final innings to Oneonta in a 8-7 deficit, eliminating them in the postseason. The Trojans finished 13-8 on the season.

Greene/Oxford had a 7-3 lead in the fifth inning, but failed to score again. Oneonta took control with a three-run fifth and scored two runs in the final two innings to earn the victory.

In the loss, the Trojans pitching combined for seven strikeouts. Dallas Roe and Parker Flanagan lead the offense with two hits a piece while teammate Hogan Ludolph collected three RBIs on the day.
