Norwich and Sherburne holding Fourth of July fireworks

CHENANGO COUNTY — The City of Norwich and the Village of Sherburne will both be hosting fireworks displays to celebrate the Fourth of July. Millenia Entertainment will be putting on the display in Norwich at the Chenango County Fairgrounds as part of their Fireworks Over the Fairgrounds event. Tickets to attend the full event are $15 for attendees aged seven years or older, or $10 a carload for just the fireworks. Gates open at 4 p.m. with a musical performance by Jason Wicks also at 4 p.m., a tractor pull at 6 p.m., and fireworks beginning at dusk. The Sherburne Rotary Club will put on this year's fireworks display in Sherburne, beginning at dusk at the Sherburne-Earlville Central School grounds.
