NEW BERLIN – For the Week of June 29, Kelly’s Flowers, Ed Kohler and Lee Coon, remain in first place with The Trophy Guy, Cindy Miller and Joe Miller, moving from eighth to second place in the South New Berlin Horseshoe Club. Harrington Tree Service, Carpet Plus Color Tile, and Webster Paving close out the top five of the standings.

Kelly’s Flowers also led three of the four team categories. They took a two-point advantage over Rustic Ridge, Dale Lund with Ron Anderson, 149-147 in the team high singles while dominating the high series with 441 points. In the team handicap high series, they tied with Potter’s Tires, Billy Schermerhorn and John Edwards, with 618 points. The Trophy Guy scored a high of 222 points to earn the win in the team handicap high singles.

For the men’s, Dale Lund of Rustic Ridge led both the high singles and high series. In the men’s high singles, he scored 83 points ahead of Lee Coon and Mike Aylesworth who tied with 82 points. Lund scored 243 points over Coon’s 221 and Kohler’s 220 points for the high series.

Jess Sherwood took a three-point advantage in the women’s high singles with 77 points over Cindy Miller’s 74. Cindy Miller earned the victory in the women’s high series over Sherwood with 198 points.

The South New Berlin Horseshoe club plays every Wednesday night.
