NORWICH — Last week's NBT Bank Free Summer Concert Series performance by Southside Johnny and the Asbury Jukes saw another massive crowd. Tonight at 7 p.m. the series continues in East Park with a performance by Austin, Texas-based band Shinyribs.

Described as having a "melting pot" style of Texas blues, New Orleans R&B funk, Memphis soul, country twang, border music, big band swing, and roots-rock, Shinyribs is sure to bring "a cinematic experience with on-stage antics" to the East Park stage.

Attendees can also enjoy delicious meals cooked up by several local food trucks or downtown eateries, or enjoy a refreshing beverage in the Park Place beer garden adjacent to the park.

Next week's performance on Thursday, August 4 will feature the return of The Garcia Project to the East Park stage.
