The 29th annual Chenango Blues Fest was a hit

NORWICH– The 29th annual Chenango Blues Fest was held this weekend in Norwich at the Chenango County Fairgrounds.

“It’s a great year for us. Jimmie Vaughan is a big headliner for us, we have a really strong lineup.,” said Chenango Blues Association Event Organizer Eric Larsen.

Opening the weekend with the NBT Summer Series on Thursday was the Nate Gross Band, then headliner Mike Zito’s Big Band.

The acts at the Fairgrounds kicked off on Friday with a lineup featuring the The Hi-Jivers, followed by Angel Forrest and Popa Chubby.

Saturday featured headliner Jimmie Vaughan, the Misty Blues Band, Annika Chambers, Altered Five Blues Band, and Nick Moss and special guest Dennis Gruenling.

The tent stage shows featured Corey Harris and Cedric Watson; EG Kight Trio; Teresa James and the Rhythm Tramps; and Southern Avenue.
