Golf: Greene collects fourth win of the season against B-G
GREENE – The Greene Trojans golf team is on roll in the last few matches. This time, they came out on top against Bainbridge-Guilford 217-276.
The Trojans continue to see excellent scores from its top six golfers, especially from Parker Flanagan and Lincoln Youngs. Flanagan and Youngs continue to strive for Greene, both shooting a team-best 39 on the day.
Aside from them, teammates Anthony Thatcher and Austin Dehaan both chipped in a 46 while Clayton Leonard finished with a 47. Trent Drew, Maeric Barrows, and Noah Symmons all had playing time, but their scores were not used.
B-G saw their top medalist Michael Lipani led his team with a 46 but the rest could not compete with Greene.
Greene looks to stay hot against a tough Sidney team on Thursday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
