Golf: Oxford falls short against Sidney

OXFORD – On Tuesday afternoon, the Oxford Blackhawks golf team hosted a tough Sidney team and fell short 241-257.
Oxford’s top golfer of the day was Kyle Benjamin with a 46. Kyle Smith shot a 44 to be the top medalist for Sidney.
Behind Benjamin, teammate Ethan Hodge chipped in a 49 while Degan Endress and Bennett Paden both shot a 52. Sylas Emerson closed out the scoring with a 58.
Blake Barrows, Nicos Spyratos, and Bodie Barrows also made appearances for the Blackhawks but their scores were not used.
Oxford (2-3) will face Hancock for the second time this season after defeating them on Friday. The match is set for this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
