VOLLEYBALL: UV earns second win of the season against Sidney
NEW BERLIN – In a Thursday matchup against Sidney, the Unadilla Valley Storm volleyball team captured their second win of the season, taking all three games.
Hudson Lyons achieved 10 assists and nine aces for the Storm while teammate Kate Conway picked up six assists, three aces, and five kills.
Bella Jones added on to the kills with five of her own, along with Madison Sayles. Jones also had two aces while Sayles had five. Erica Mumbulo contributed with four kills for the Storm.
Shannon Kelly finished with 10 digs and three aces as Mackenzie Achre picked up a block in the win.
UV (2-0) travels to Hancock for a match scheduled on Tuesday, September 20 at 6 p.m.
