Two arrested after found in possession of ghost guns

LINCKLAEN – Bureau of Criminal Investigation at Sidney arrested Alec D. Hollenbeck, age 19 of Lincklaen, and Duane G. Hollenbeck, age 53 of Moravia, after an investigation revealed that they were each in possession of numerous ghost guns and large capacity ammunition feeding devices that are not NY SAFE Act compliant.

Each of the men have been charged with the class “C” felony of Criminal Possession of a Weapon and the class “D” felony of Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the third degree.

Alec Hollenbeck was arrested on August 30, 2022. He was arraigned before a judge and released on his own recognizance. A. Hollenbeck is scheduled to appear in the Lincklaen Court on September 14, 2022.

Duane Hollenbeck was arrested on September 7, 2022.   He was arraigned before a judge and released on his own recognizance. D. Hollenbeck is scheduled to appear at the Lincklaen Town Court on September 20, 2022.
