BOYS SOCCER: Greene slides past Sidney

GREENE – On Tuesday, the Greene Trojans captured a 2-0 shutout victory against Sidney. In the win, they held Sidney to just one shot on goal in all 80 minutes of play.
Greene led 1-0 at halftime after Trevor Ketcham shot a ball from 26 yards out that made its way in with 4:55 left to go.
The Trojans would score again in the second half as Jonah Browning netted one from a nice volley of a pass delivered from the corner by Kloden Rapp.
Greene will stay home to host Oxford on Friday night before hosting Afton on Saturday. Friday’s game starts at 4:30 p.m. and Saturday’s starts at 1 p.m.
