VOLLEYBALL: UV remains undefeated with win over B-G

NEW BERLIN – The Unadilla Valley Storm volleyball team defeated Bainbridge-Guilford in all three games on Thursday evening. They remain undefeated after wins against Greene, Sidney, Hancock, and now B-G. They are continuing to strive as returning MAC divisional champions.
Leading the way for the Storm was Kate Conway and Hudson Lyons. Conway led the team with six assists while Lyons earned five. Conway also picked up nine aces as Lyons collected six. Lyons also had four kills and three digs in the win.
Behind them, Maddie Sayles strived with five aces, two kills, and an assist while Shannon Kelly had seven digs to go along with her three aces and three kills. Erica Mumbulo contributed with two aces, three kills and had the team’s only block of the night.
UV (4-0) will face Unatego on Tuesday, September 27 at 6 p.m.
