GOLF: BG falls to a powerful Sidney

BAINBRIDGE – On Wednesday, the Bainbridge-Guilford golf team fell short 252-242 to Sidney, who remains undefeated this season.
BG’s Mike Lipani led all scores with a 43. Kyle Smith and Caidyn Lambrecht shared a 47 for Sidney’s top score.
Behind Lipani, Julian Pruskowski and Aiden Vermilyea both chipped in a 49 for the Bobcats. Easton Porter shot a 54 while Brock Porter finished the scoring with a 57.
“Overall, the team scores have been much better,” Devin Mills, BG’s head coach said. “Players are getting comfortable with their game.”
Sidney’s golfers, other than Smith and Lambrecht, shot a range of 48-52 to top BG.
BG looks to bounce back against Hancock this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
