SHERBURNE – On Saturday, family and friends gathered around the Bullthistle Brewery to honor Kayla Crandall. Kayla was recently diagnosed with stage four brain cancer.
There was a cornhole tournament and a basket raffle, featuring gifts donated from various local business, benefiting Kayla and her family.
20 teams competed for cash prizes while others ate, drank, and listened to live entertainment, including music from Mark Sherwood. At the end of the event, raffle winners were drawn.
Kayla and her family would like to thank everyone who helped set up this event, the Bullthistle Brewery for hosting, along with everyone who attended.
Donations can still be made to the family. There are various bins located all among Norwich, including at the Norwich Magros and at the Norwich Purple Tornado and Cyclones concession stand. Donations can also be mailed to the NHS Cheer Boosters, Attn: Kayla Crandall at PO BOX 943, Norwich, NY 13815.
