Field Hockey: Greene’s strong season ends at Regionals
SIDNEY – On Saturday, the Greene Trojans field hockey team faced Cicero-North Syracuse in the first round of Regionals. This came after Greene won the Sectional championships. Greene’s impressive season would end in a 2-0 deficit.
Cicero-North Syracuse scored on both shots on goal while Greene was shot heavy with eight but couldn’t put one in. They also had nine penalty corners, but had no luck there.
Greene stood proud to finish 12-5 overall and 11-4 in the regular season. Congratulations on a successful season, Trojans.
