The 8th annual Lions Club Bowling Tournament

GREENE – On Saturday, November 12, the Greene Bowlodrome hosted the eighth annual Lions Club 9-pin bowling tournament. This event helped raise money for the Greene Lions Club. This year, the event raised over $1,154 with help from the alley itself, Pizza Kingz, and all the bowlers.
The winning team was Paula Basa, Wayne Basa, Jeff Jones, Andy Beebe, and Mike Mazzarella who bowled a combined 3600. In second place was Becky Dickman, Donna McGrath, Patrick Chesseman, Robert Dickman and Linda Gransbury with a 3591. In third place was Dave McGowan Sr, Brenda McGowan, Erik McGowan, Matt Carr, and Dave McGowan Jr. who finished with a 3562.
David McGowan Jr paved the way with a 854 high series while Carl Pratt, Todd Hayes, Justin Pratt, Rachel Peterson, and Terry Simpson combined for a 1247 for the high team scratch game. Paula, Wayne, Jeff, Andy, and Mike earned the high team handicap game with a 1270. Congratulations to Linda Gransbury who won the Lottery Pin.
The Greene Bowlodrome appreciated the great turn out and hope everyone enjoyed themselves. They also give a special shout out to all the bowlers and thank everyone for their support.
