BOYS BASKETBALL: B-G drops season opener vs Trumansburg
TRUMANSBURG – On Saturday, the Bainbridge-Guilford boys basketball team opened their 2022 season on the road against Trumansburg. The Blue Raiders took control in the first half to come away with a 54-44 victory.
After being down 30-20 at halftime, the Bobcats fought in the second half but could not hold Trumansburg. James Hogroian led all scorers with 23 points for B-G while Ilias Wilson finished with 12 points. David Emerson had six points in the loss.
Nick Nelson (18 points), Chandler Wright (12 points), and Mason Van Gordon (nine points) were the top scorers for the Blue Raiders.
B-G (0-1) will be on the road for a league matchup against Harpursville on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
