Norwich also had five wrestlers go undefeated; Maverick Beckwith, Regan Roach, Nate Murphy, Yanni Drapanotis, and Mason Edwards.
Coach Bob Hagenbuch applauded his team and quoted this meet as a great bounce back performance after the Tornado lost 48-21 vs Windsor last Thursday.

Yanni Drapanotis in the 152 weight class won his matches on two takedowns and a close 4-3 decision. He defeated neighboring Oxford-Greene’s Christian Paden in a takedown at 1:24 in the first period.
Despite the loss, Hunter Page and Cade Mustin were notable wrestlers for Oxford-Greene. Page earned a 15-3 major decision win against Robert McIntyre while Mustin defeated Aiden Hernandez with a takedown at 1:39.
In the 172 class, Mason Edwards had a stellar day with quick wins. He took down Dryden’s Ethan Carr in just 25 seconds before a quick takedown of Oxford-Greene’s Isiah Sexton in 16 seconds. In his final match, he won on a fall at 30 seconds.
