OXFORD –The NYSPHSAA’s Scholar-Athlete report for the fall of 2022 was released recently and found that Oxford had 161 student-athletes that ranged from seventh to 12 grade. Also, almost all these athletes had a 1st-quarter grade point-average of over 65 with 80 having a GPA of 90 or above.
Four out of five of the varsity fall teams earned Scholar-Athlete team status by having a 90 or higher GPA for the top 75 percent of the roster, with four of five JV teams meeting the same criteria.
