PENFIELD- Last weekend, the Sherburne-Earlville wrestling team traveled to Penfield, NY, where the Marauders had an outstanding outing by finishing seventh.

In weight order, the following wrestlers placed out of 24 total teams;

Manny Hollins: 2nd place JV division

Cameron Mason: 3rd place JV division

Selina Moore: 1st place Women’s division

Justin Race: 2nd place JV division

Aydin Gunther: 2nd place JV division

Alex Campbell: 3rd place JV division

Cody Clarkson: 2nd place Varsity division

Richie Fuller: 1st place JV division

Brier Cox: 2nd place Varsity division

Landon Andrade: 1st place Varsity division

The performance made by these wrestlers is only one prime example of a bright future for S-E wrestling.

Following the tournament, S-E suffered a 53-24 loss to Mount Markham. The team is expected to participate in the Cuneen Doane Tournament on Saturday, December 17 at 10 a.m. Weather permitting.
