NORWICH – The Norwich Purple Tornado boys swim team hosted Owego on Tuesday evening, where they suffered a 68-55 loss.

However, they did celebrate their lone senior Ethan Guzewich. Guzewich, who swims alongside his brother Timothy, swam two lifetime bests on the night. He swam a time of 25.94 seconds in the 50 freestyle event while also competing in the 100 free in 57.9 seconds.

According to the Norwich Purple Tornado Swimming and Diving Facebook page, Ethan’s favorite memory has been swimming the 100 free in less than a minute while his overall goal is to make sectionals and achieve personal best times in all events.
