NORWICH – On Sunday, March 12, the Norwich Family YMCA and the Bolts Youth Track Club will be hosting an indoor track meet for children ages five and up. The event will begin at 4 p.m. at the YMCA indoor track located in the gym.
For this exclusive meet, the Bolts welcome any youth to participate, even if you’re not involved with the club. A perfect opportunity to try out track for the very first time. There is a fee of $3 for active Bolts members while non-members will pay $5.
The Bolts indoor session began in January and concludes following the meet before returning for a summer session. They’ve been working on various drills and fundamentals for the past few months to learn skills and learn to love the sport of track and field.
Contact YMCA fitness Director and Bolts leader Shannon Gawronski at 607-336-9622 extension 1024 or at sgawronski@norwichymca.org with any questions.
