Sherburne-Earlville Golf kicks off 2023 season with win over Mt. Markham
SHERBURNE – The 2023 high school golf season is underway as the Sherburne-Earlville Marauders faced Mount Markham on Tuesday afternoon at their own Mountain Top Golf Course. Coach John Butgzy and his team picked up the 199-242 victory to have a great start to the season.
S-E’s Garret Winton led all golfers as he shot a 49 to be the overall top medalist. Teammate Kerrigan Buschor tied with him as he also shot a 49 on the par 35 course. Parker Goedel (50) and Charlie Potrzeba (51) followed behind.
S-E (1-0) is back on the course today with a match against Herkimer at 3:30 p.m.
