S-E Golf falls to Hamilton
SHERBURNE – On a wet and rainy Monday afternoon, golf was still played at Mountain Top as the Sherburne-Earlville golf team hosted Hamilton. Hamilton defeated S-E in a tight match by a score of 167-178. This was S-E’s first loss of the season after two nice wins.
S-E’s Garret Winton earned top medalist with a 41 as Avery Parsons and Balin Olsen tied with a 45. Parker Goedel shot a 47 to round out the home golfers.
On the visiting end, Hamilton’s Ryan Peters shot a best of 40 on the day while Will Chouinard and Peyton Werner both scored a 41. Dylan George had a 45 for Hamilton in the win.
S-E (2-1) travels to Herkimer on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
