SOFTBALL: Oxford honors seniors in loss to Deposit-Hancock

OXFORD – The Oxford Blackhawks softball team celebrated its 2023 seniors in their home game against Deposit-Hancock on Monday afternoon. Oxford fell 15-0 to the tough Eagles team, who leads the MAC.
Prior to the first pitch, Oxford honored its four dedicated seniors; Ella Kelsey, Naiomi Smith, Madison Long, and Kyla Kelsey-Jones. Good luck to each of you in all your future endeavors.
Kyla and Ella provided the only hits for the Blackhawks while two teammates reached on walks. Naiomi Smith struck out two batters in the loss on the mound.
Oxford heads to Afton this afternoon with a 4:30 p.m. start.
