Oxford Library kicks off summer of fun

OXFORD — The Oxford Library has kicked off its “All Together Now” Summer Reading Program with Story Times, Craft Nights and Dungeons and Dragons, and everyone has been having a blast. But there is still a lot that will be happening as the summer goes on.


Thursday, July 27 the library will be hosting Lee Knight for two back-to-back programs. At 4 p.m., join Lee for some Story Time Yoga. This will be for more of the younger ages, but everyone is welcome to come and use the yoga poses to help tell the story. At 6 p.m. Lee will be doing an interactive concert that the whole family is welcome to attend!

Friday, July 28 at 6 p.m. is Family Movie Night. The Library will be showing “Jumanji: The Next Level” rated PG-13. A snack and drink will be provided thanks to the generous donations of patrons and staff. If you wish to bring your own snack and drink, you are more than welcome to do so.


On Thursday, August 3 at 6 p.m., everyone’s favorite “Dan the Snake Man” will be here to introduce everyone to his scaly friends. If you want to know more about reptiles and get up close and personal, this is the program for you!
