OXFORD — Berries have been slow to mature this season but they are now coming on strong and sweet and full of flavor, and five vendors at the Oxford Farmers’ Market this Saturday will have an abundance of blueberries, black caps, and raspberries to choose from, both cultivated and wild, all sun sweetened, from 9 a.m. to noon in Lafayette Park in Oxford.
Vendors at the Market this week will also be offering a huge variety of fresh-picked seasonal produce and plant starts for the garden; dairy products and regional cheeses; locally raised and processed beef, lamb, and pork; artisanal breads and baked goods; herbs and teas; maple syrup and honey; hand-made soaps, lotions, and lip balms; homemade treats and toys for dogs; exquisitely hand-crafted items for the kitchen and home; and artisan fiber products from local producers.
Every product sold at the Market comes from a local source, and from the skilled hands of your neighbor farmers, food producers, and artisans.
