Norwich hemp store armed robbery investigation still open

NORWICH– The investigation into an armed robbery that occurred at Holt’s Hemp Emporium in the City of Norwich during an afternoon in late May is still ongoing.


Norwich Police Department (NPD) Chief Reuben J. Roach said the investigation is still open, and investigators are reviewing and welcoming leads from community members.


“We are following all of the evidence and leads that we have that come in,” Roach said.


At around 1:09 p.m. on May 23, an individual committed a gunpoint robbery at Holt’s Hemp Emporium at 20 South Broad St. in Norwich, <a href="https://www.evesun.com/news/stories/2023-05-23/38373/Motorcycle-rider-commits-armed-daylight-robbery-of-Norwich-hemp-shop" target=”_blank”><u>NPD reported</u></a>.
