J&H Express opens and offers one-stop shopping

COVENTRY — J&H Express opened this summer and is located at 2536 State Highway 206 in Coventry. The daily store hours are from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.


The remodeled store interior has approximately 3,000 square feet with plenty of freezers and shelving filled with grocery products including Boar's Head deli meat for fresh or hot sandwiches. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are also served. The beer cave is a walk in cooler stocked with a variety of beer.


Home baked goodies, wireless accessories for phones and computers, and gas pumps create a well rounded one-stop shopping experience for local residence and needful travelers. Inside and outside dining is available with additional parking area in the back.

The J&H Express manager KG steadily rang up customers and took a few sandwich orders. In between customers he said they are very busy and still have one apartment upstairs available for rent.


“I am not from the area, but I like it very much,” he added.


Darci Shepard, President and Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) of the Coventry Emergency Squad and Vice President (VP) for the fire company was born, raised, and still lives in Coventry and said the store is a great asset to the area.
