BAINBRIDGE – After two tough matches to start the season, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats volleyball team returned home to face Unatego. The Spartans gave the Bobcats quite a challenge but it was the home team that came away with the 3-2 victory.

Unatego took the first and third set while B-G won the second and fourth to force a fifth set. B-G won 15-13 to pick up their first win of the season with a fairly young team.

The Bobcats were led by Kaylynn Crandall with nine assists, four aces, and four digs. Kaydence Brimmer finished the game with six kills as Peyton Umbra had seven aces and seven digs. Emma Beames added four digs and two aces while Allie Cafasso capped off with six digs in the win.

B-G (1-2) heads to Afton/Harpursville on Friday at 6 p.m.
