Golf: Greene rolls on with win over Delhi

DELHI – The Greene Trojans golf team continued to prove themselves a top MAC division team as they defeated Delhi 243-293 on Tuesday. The Trojans remain strong at 8-1 on the season with about four matches left to play.
While it wasn’t a great scoring night for either team, Greene pushed through on the par-36 course. Parker Flanagan paved the way with a match low of 42 while Lincoln Youngs followed pursuit with a 44. Austin Dehaan shot a 48 as Trent Drew finished with a 5. Noah Symons rounded out the scoring with a 58 as Hunter Becker received time as the team’s sixth golfer.
Delhi’s scores ranged from a low of 50 to a high of 70.
Both teams will meet again Thursday at Greene’s home Genegantslet course at 3:45 p.m.
