Norwich Golf wins Class B Tournament

HORSEHEADS – After winning the STAC East Division, the Norwich Purple Tornado golf team added one more accolade to its successful season. They came home with the Section IV Class B title.
Norwich finished second at sectionals in 2022, so they fought hard to achieve first this time around with the lowest score of 438 (+83). Norwich competed against Owego, Seton Catholic, Windsor, and Johnson City.
The Purple Tornado were led by Jacob Morris, who tied for second place with an 81 (+10) with Braden Reid (82) and Julien Smith (86) behind him in the fourth and fifth positions. Jacob Dowdall finished 11th with a 94 as Aidan Stafford (95) and Matthew Brunick followed in 12th and 13th to round out the day.
