Boys Soccer: Greene ties with Delhi

GREENE – The Greene Trojans boys soccer team hosted Delhi on Monday afternoon, ending in a 1-1 tie. Both teams scored their only goal in the first half before a draw from a competitive second half.
Greene did however attempt more shots on goal with 17 over Delhi’s four, but both goalkeepers stood their ground. Jonah Browning scored the only goal for the Trojans off a pass from Kloden Rapp. Jackson Roth made one key save in net for Greene.
This game could’ve been Greene’s final regular season game with “to be determined” listed on their current schedule. Greene is currently 7-6-1 and is behind Afton/Harpursville in the MAC division II standings.
