NORWICH — Saturday in the Park with Chobani returns from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, October 21, in West Park, with new vendors, an array of fruits and vegetables, and holiday gifts.
Norwich Business Improvement District (B.I.D.) Administrator Mindy Chawgo said, “It's going to be a beautiful week five for Chobani to bring us another amazing market day.”
“The colors of fall have made the park sparkle for the last few weeks,” said Chawgo. “The harvest in the park will be full of local meats, mums, baked goods, cider, music, and laughter.”
She said new vendors are signed for this week and include Hartwigs Hilltop Honey with their wide selection of sweet honey, Glancy Acres will join with their baked goods and treats for everyone, and Kim's Acrylics will debut her talent of amazing acrylic work.
“It's also a perfect time to start shopping for everyone on your list and check it twice,” said Chawgo. “Jams, keychains, cups, home décor, personalized shirts, alpaca hats and socks, journals, and hometown pictures. There is truly something for everyone.”
She said the fifth week brings so much excitement although sadness as they close in on the upcoming last Saturday in the Park.
“Week five leads up to our epic Norwitch Festival on October 28, where we get to not only partner with Chobani, but with the YMCA, who will spread some Halloween cheer and gifts,” said Chawgo. “The Columbus Public House teams up with us as well to bring their famous and delectable chicken.”
