Girls Soccer: B-G falls to Groton
BAINBRIDGE – The Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats, as a seven seed, hosted 11th seed Groton on Wednesday for the first round of sectionals. The Bobcats came up short 2-0, ending a consistent 2023 season.
B-G finished 8-7-1 on the season and in second place in MAC division II.
The Bobcats were led all season by senior Johnna Henderson, who will be missed next season. Johnna finished with a team-high of 27 goals and 12 assists.
Good luck to Johnna, along with fellow seniors Annika Armstrong, Gabby Cuozzo, and Olivia Nichols.
